About Charlene Coetzee

Charlene qualified as an Audiological Scientist and Hearing Aid Dispenser in South Africa in 1997. She worked in private practice in Pretoria for a few years and relocated to the UK in 2001. Here she worked across the NHS and later led the Audiology team at Frimley Park NHS Trust. Since 2012 she has focussed solely on her private Audiology practice, Farnham Hearing.

Her clinical expertise stretches more than 20 years and includes electrophysiological testing and bone-anchored hearing aids. She loves the flexibility that private practice offers to complete specialist hearing investigation (over and beyond a standard audiogram) and also allowing the choice of an array of technologies to tailor the need of her clients with the best possible solutions. She believes in a holistic, client centred approach in hearing care (an enthusiastic IDA fellow) and is tenacious for delivering exceptional service.

When she is not helping people to hear better, she is spending time with her family or enjoying outdoor sports with cycling ranking amongst her favourite. She loves riding the country lanes oustide Farnham, with the ride up Beacon Hill to the Devil's Punch Bowl her (current) favourite.
